FAQs

Our products are flexible, they expand and contract with the concrete – and they stay this way their entire lives. Epoxy starts its life flexible to a degree, but will quickly become brittle and begin to chip and peel over the span of a few years after installation. Polyurea actually soaks into the pores of the concrete, creating a much greater bond than traditional epoxies that just bind to the surface of a slab. Our products are also UV stable, so they will not fade or change in look over time. Our product is also pressure-wash safe, and salt resistant – which helps prevent pits from forming come winter-time!

No, there are different mixes of these products – some lower quality versions will dilute their mix in order to bring product cost down, compromising the bond between the coating and substrate. Ask about solids contents in a coating to see what quality a product is, the closer a solids content gets to 100 (percent) – the higher quality the coating, and thus the better the bond. Our product has over 99% solids!

We can coat roughly 1000ft² in a day, less for spaces that require significant hand grinding. Most garages, patios, sidewalks will only take 1 day, and the product’s full cure time is 24 hours. This means the next morning (8 hours after sealed) you will have access for foot traffic, and then that evening (24 hours after sealed) you have full access to your space again.

It depends, the larger and wider a crack or pit is, the higher the likelihood that it will reappear. There is nothing that can permanently fix a cracked or pitted area of a pad of concrete, but we do use the best Poly-Urea crack filler out there to prevent them from reappearing. There is no completely permanent fix for a crack or pit, other than completely replacing the pad.

We can control the texture to be as gritty as needed. We can make it glass smooth, or as gritty as brushed concrete, and all in between.

Yes, this product is good for both indoor and outdoor concrete.

Soapy water (dawn dish soap) works well for mopping, it is pressure wash safe (just not the tightest setting on the stream), bristle brush for dried dirt.
